The programme provides a structured framework to support populations affected by mining operations, securing their socio-economic stability and lasting integration into new economic dynamics. It includes several Livelihoods Restoration Projects (LRP) and Income-Generating Activities (IGA).

MSA supports the implementation and follow-up of farming, livestock and trade projects designed for populations displaced by mining activities. Through a close approach based on resident technicians, hands-on training and adapted educational tools, MSA strengthens beneficiary capacities and improves overall project performance.

The set-up structures activities, increases revenues and ensures rigorous impact monitoring.

LRP projects

29 beneficiaries and 7 associations totalling 118 members

  • 18 micro and small enterprise (MSE) projects: trade and processing
  • 14 livestock production projects
  • 1 plant production project

IGA projects

3 projects totalling 93 members

  • 1 plant production project with 23 members
  • 1 livestock production project involving 45 members
  • 1 special East Cavally project combining plant and livestock production for 25 members
